ラスベガスで4/1から始まったCTIAでWM6.1 Standardを搭載したhtc Snapが正式に発表された模様。

国内ではSoftBankから発売されたX02HTのワールドワイドモデルの後継機にあたる、htc Snap(コードネーム：HTC Maple)である。
スペック的にはOSがWM 6.1 Standard、GPS内蔵、メモリの増量、トラックボール採用、この薄さで1500ｍAのバッテリーを搭載した点が大きく異なる進化した部分だ。
